When you start out as a photographer you will probably end up photographing one person more than anyone else ... yourself. It was definitely true for me. I got really friendly with the time shutter release and "shot" myself as much as possible.
The process was quite complicated - I couldn't see what was in front of the camera which meant I had to go back and forth, time and time again to re-position myself. It was however worth it. I learned a lot about lighting and retouching. One of my favourite series is this one with multiple versions of myself with my couch playing centre stage. It's an oldie but a goodie. Please don't judge me for my hair ... I was going through my Amelie phase. :-)
